Michael del Rio is in a life-or-death struggle for a fragment of parchment purported to be a message from Mary, the mother of Jesus. What he discovers is that he must also face issues of personal faith that he has never questioned before.

This thriller novel is a page-turner that also makes the reader think about matters of faith.

With the help of Valerie Miller, a diplomat assigned to the Vatican and a Southern Baptist believer, Michael crosses continents to take hold of the Ephesus fragment. He is one of many pursuing it. The archaeologist who discovered the parchment craves the publicity it will bring. A wealthy American pursues it for the healing power he thinks it might possess. Even the U.S. State Department is involved.

When Michael has the opportunity to read the document for himself, he is conflicted, terrified and joyful at the same time, hoping in one second for the authenticity of the document, yet praying for it to be a hoax. The one thing he knows for sure is that, if authentic, this parchment would turn Christianity on its head. For that matter, his world would never be the same.

There are plenty of plot twists and action to keep the reader enthralled to the end. Who will end up with the document? What will happen to Valerie and Michael?

The Ephesus Fragment is an excellent novel for both Christians and non-Christians. Consider passing it along to friends who dont know Christ as an opportunity to share your faith with them.
