When Jesus commissioned His disciples to go into all the world and preach the gospel, He did not send them unprepared. They had spent three years observing Jesus own evangelism methods in dealing with a variety of people.

Christians today can still learn from the examples that are recorded for us in the Gospels. The heart of Jesus ministry was to individuals. While the masses were intrigued by His teachings and miracles, His true followers came through a personal encounter with Jesus Christ, the Living Gospel.

In this book, Robert E. Coleman examines the accounts of how Jesus approached and responded to 12 categories of people. From the religious gentry to sinful women, from children to condemned criminals, Jesus had something to offer them all.

For each category, Coleman opens with a scripture passage for study. He gives some background, describes the situation and points out how Jesus adapted His message for the unique needs of the individual. Coleman then gives observations that may apply in our own contact with people in similar circumstances.

Each section concludes with personal exercises, ideas for group discussion and an action plan. A review section at the end of the book summarizes the principles that Jesus exemplified.
