Borrowing powerful images from the JESUS film project, this video portrays the life of Christ as seen through the eyes of children. Benjamin, Caleb, Sarah, Joel, Leah and Nathan represent children living during the time of Jesus ministry. As these children follow Jesus around the Galilean countryside, they are amazed at His miracles, confused by His teachings, but drawn by His love. Seeking to understand this controversial Man, they discuss and argue about their parents differing opinions and their own feelings.
The children watch as Jesus is betrayed and falsely accused. They look on in stunned disbelief and horror as He is cruelly put to death. After Jesus triumphant return from the grave, several of the children finally begin to understand the significance of what He came to do. At the end of the video, young Benjamin speaks directly to viewers and shares his own decision to follow Jesus along with an excellent presentation of the gospel message at a childs level. He concludes with an invitation to accept Jesus Christ as Savior.
This dramatic adaptation brings the gospel alive in a memorable way for young viewers. It also encourages them to make a personal decision.
