Ordained in 1973 at Calvary Baptist in Evansville, Indiana. Also served churches in Virginia, Florida, North Carolina and Texas. Served in many positions of church leadership.
Education: Bachelor of arts, Indiana University. Master of divinity and doctor of ministry degrees from Southwestern Seminary. Post graduate work in England at Oxford's Regent College studying the history of revival and Great Awakenings.
First Job: Vocational evangelism.
Biggest Challenge: Developing a high-performance team.
Long-Range Goal: To glorify God by cultivating a biblical lifestyle (Titus 2:11-12) by fulfilling and completing the work God has given me to do (1 John 17:1-4).
Likes Most About Job: Stretching people in vision and seeing God shape a team to impact North America with the gospel.
Likes Least: Unending meetings.
