British Columbia

Alan and Margaret Au, career missionaries in Victoria, British Columbia. Alan is city coordinator for Strategic Focus Cities, Vancouver. The Aus are working to Impact Vancouver and Victoria significantly with evangelism and church planting among Chinese and other Asian communities. Pray for The Grand Strategy Team in Vancouver as they work to develop effective strategies and priorities to reach the lost sectors of the population in the city. Also pray for their associational churches as they begin the process of changing their inward focus to become on mission churches affecting their communities and the surrounding areas for Christ.

California

Andrew and Edith Chan, career missionaries in Fresno, California. Andrew is a Statewide Chinese Church planting missionary for the Language Church Extension Department of the California Southern Baptist Convention. The Chans are working to help start three new Chinese churches and help existing churches to grow. Pray for the Chans as they look for more bilingual Chinese Church Planter pastors, ministers and graduate seminary students with Chinese/English language skills to help reach the more than one million lost Chinese in California.

California

Ray and Mary Zumut, career missionaries in Upland, California. Ray works as a multiethnic church planter in the Inland Empire of California, an area encompassing San Bernadino and Riverside counties. Ray and Mary are trying to reach the large group of Arabic-speaking people in their area. Pray as they reach out to the Arabic population and for their members to continue in the direction God has called them.

Ontario

Salaam and Hivaa Jaro, career missionaries serving in Toronto, Ontario. Salaam is pastor of Arabic Baptist Church in Toronto, where the Jaros work to start churches among Arabic and Middle Eastern people. The Jaros also pray to plant churches in other nations, including the first Southern Baptist church in Iraq. Pray for wisdom as they lead the church in Toronto and for financial means there. Also pray for the Muslim people attending their church that they would make decisions for Christ.

Kentucky

David and Suzanne Lee, career missionaries in Lexington, Kentucky. David is the Director of Lay Mobilization for the Lexington Baptist Association. The Lees work to assist congregations to be on mission with God in their Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and to the ends of the earth. Pray that God would provide housing for a US/C2 missionary couple, that God would multiply the fruits through their multihousing ministry coordinator, Sherry Amason, and for the formation of a North American and International mission strategy for the association. Also, pray for Community Changers, a program similar to World Changers, but specific to the Lexington Baptist Association.

Georgia

Fayiz and Emilia Saknini, career missionaries working in Atlanta, Georgia. Fayiz is a church planter working with the Georgia Baptist Convention to reach Arabic-speaking people, Middle Easterners and Muslims with the gospel. The Sakninis hope to start more missions and churches among these people in Georgia and throughout North America.   Pray as they seek a sponsoring church and a meeting place for their Arabic Mission in Duluth, Georgia.
